About the Position
Our Teacher Aide is responsible for creating a welcoming classroom environment and providing daily support to reflect the importance of play-based learning in early childhood growth and development, including assisting with classroom preparation, stimulating students' growing minds, and monitoring everything with the Lead Teacher.
補助教員の仕事は、こども達に優しい教室環境を作り、幼児期の成長と発達における遊びを中心としたメソッドを理解し、教室の準備の補助、生徒の成長する心への刺激、リードティーチャーと共に全てを監視するなど、日々のサポートをする役割を担っています。
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Knowledge of Program Policies and Procedures of Sunshine Kids Academy Inc.

Prepare and present lessons facilitating students' cognitive, social, and emotional development.
生徒の認知、社交、情緒の発達を促すような授業を準備し、提供する。
Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities.
文化的に適切なプログラムおよび活動を実施する。
Create a nurturing learning environment, implement positive discipline, and assist students in resolving conflicts with others.
学習環境を整え、前向きなしつけを行い、生徒が他者との衝突を解決できるように支援する。
Integrate Special Needs Students positively and respectfully and discuss identified problems and needs with upper management and professionals as needed.
特別な援助を必要とする生徒を積極的かつ尊重しながら受け入れ、特定された問題やニーズについて、必要に応じて上層部や専門家と話し合う。
Observe, assess and record children's learning and development monthly and yearly and liaise with parents & guardians every term to discuss the growth and development of the student.
月ごと、年ごとに子どもたちの学習と発達を観察、評価、記録し、学期ごとに保護者と連絡を取り合い、子どもたちの成長と発達を話し合う。
Ensure students' health and safety protocols are maintained in accordance with city/prefectural and municipal legislation and policies.
生徒の健康と安全のための手順が、県・市の法律と方針に従って維持されていることを確認する。
Carry out strict hygiene protocols, including managing all aspects of day-to-day cleaning tasks, sanitizing toys & and organization of learning materials, etc.
日々の清掃作業、おもちゃの除菌、教材の整理など、衛生管理を徹底する。
Keep the classrooms and other facility spaces, including bulletin boards, up-to-date with learning visuals and/or students' artwork.
教室や掲示板などの施設スペースには、学習用ビジュアルや生徒のアートワークなどを常に最新の状態に保つ。
Establish a good knowledge of and enforce School Emergency Procedures & Protocols, and report all accidents and/or other noteworthy incidents involving students at all times.
スクールの緊急時対応手順について十分な知識を持ち、それを実施する。また、生徒が関わるすべての事故および／またはその他の注目すべき出来事について、常に報告する。
Maintain safekeeping and confidentiality of students' personal information and other records.
生徒の個人情報およびその他の記録を安全に保管し、機密性を保持すること。
Attend general weekly and monthly meetings with staff and management as needed.
必要に応じて、スタッフおよび管理部門との一般的な週次および月次ミーティングに参加する。
Assist with arranging and attending field trips and accompany students on outings as required.
遠足の手配や参加を補助し、必要に応じて生徒の遠足に同伴する。
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education or related fields.
教育または関連分野の学士号を取得していること。
Business-level English language and Basic Japanese skills.
ビジネスレベルの英語力、また、基本的な日本語での会話スキル。
Minimum of one (1) year of proven experience as an Assistant or Teacher Aide.
アシスタントまたは補助教員として1年以上の実績があること。
Knowledge of child development and the latest education theories and practices.
子どもの発達や最新の教育理論・実践に関する知識。
Creative and artistic teaching abilities.
創造的、芸術的な指導能力。
Teaching and organization skills.
指導力、クラスをまとめる能力。
Work as a team and have Patience and flexibility.

Ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force to lift.

Ability to keep the facility clean, neat, orderly, and sanitized.

This type of work requires occasional or frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching for extended periods of time.
